Shipping policy

Scope: Applies to all orders placed on the BetterStock online store and to approved business accounts unless superseded by a written agreement.

1) Service Areas

We ship to all Canadian provinces:

Ontario (ON)
Quebec (QC)
Manitoba (MB)
Saskatchewan (SK)
Alberta (AB)
British Columbia (BC)
New Brunswick (NB)
Nova Scotia (NS)
Prince Edward Island (PEI)
Newfoundland and Labrador (NL)

Presently, we do not ship to the territories: Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon.

If you have an approved business account and recurring freight needs to the territories, please contact businessaccounts@betterstock.ca for a case-specific shipping evaluation. We will strive to deliver our suite of office essentials and product collections for your business. Please note that shipping cannot be guaranteed for all cases.

2) Delivery Times (business days)

Below are approximate shipping timelines once the order is processed. Actual times may vary depending on carrier performance, weather, and the shipping address.

Note: In select metro areas (for example, Edmonton), delivery may be available the next day depending on the carrier and dispatch time.

3) Rates & Free Shipping Eligibility

We use a simple, unified structure across all products and suppliers.

Zone A – Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba (ON / QC / MB)

Flat rate: $10 per order (below threshold).
Free shipping: Orders ≥ $99 (subtotal before tax, after discounts).

Zone B – AB / BC / NB / NS / PEI / SK

Flat rate: $15 per order (below threshold).
Free shipping: Orders ≥ $99 (subtotal before tax, after discounts).

Zone C – NL

Flat rate: $85 per order.

Notes:

Shipping rate will be automatically applied based on shipping address and cart subtotal.
Orders containing back-ordered items follow the same shipping policy; see Section 6.

4) Order Processing Times

Orders placed during business hours are typically dispatched within 1 business day.
Orders placed after 1:00 p.m. local warehouse time, on weekends, or on holidays are processed the next business day.
Multi-item orders may ship in more than one parcel at no additional charge.

5) Tracking & Notifications

Once the order is processed and shipped from the warehouse facility, an email will be sent with shipping and tracking information.

6) Backorders & Out-of-Stock (OOS)

You may place orders for items that are temporarily out of stock.
Back-ordered items ship automatically once inventory is replenished. If a delay is expected to exceed typical timelines, we will notify you with options to either hold, swap, partial-ship, or cancel.

7) Delivery Issues (Loss / Damage / Delays)

Inspect your parcel upon delivery. If any items are damaged or missing, please notify us within 5 business days of the delivery (or expected delivery) date and retain all packaging for carrier assessment.
We will work with the carrier to promptly resolve any issues while keeping you informed.

8) Address Accuracy & Undeliverable Parcels

Please ensure all shipping information provided is complete and accurate. Carrier surcharges for address corrections or re-delivery may be billed back to the purchaser.
Undeliverable parcels returned to us may incur a re-ship charge.

9) Business Accounts (B2B)

Approved business customers may have a personal agreement containing additional or modified terms. Any written agreement with Betterstock supercedes this policy if and where a conflict exists.
